Monthly Word: November 2016

The beginning of the month always seems to creep up on me, and this month is no different! My month of GRATITUDE has come to and end, it was a great prompt to keep me focused on how fortunate we are, and encouraged me adjust my perspective to look for all those little moments that I am thankful for. There were a few more people joining in on Instagram, which was fantastic, and I found myself feeling inspired by all they had to be grateful for, as well! I’ll share October’s photo round-up in a few days time.

November Month of GEOMETRY

This monthly prompt will challenge me a bit more, but I guess that’s the whole point! I always have a few ideas rumbling around in my head about what word or phrase might be feasible (and enjoyable!) to photograph for an entire month. Some prompt ideas end up feeling too specific and others feel too vague, I’m hoping this one will be a nice happy medium 🙂

My plan is to keep my eyes peeled for the GEOMETRY around town. This could be the architectural lines of a building or the patterns in nature. Maybe this looks like shapes or symmetries or textures. I can’t wait to see what my little eye spies this month!

Thus, I’m dedicating November to my month of Geometry, and I would love to see how you interpret this prompt, as well. If you’d like to join in, please do – the more the merrier! I’ll post my findings on various social media places – Instagram, Google+, Facebook and Twitter,  tagging #MyMonthOfNovember and #MyMonthOfGeometry

Here’s to a month of GEOMETRY!
